EU-India Joint Action Plan Support Facility Environment Component





About us

The EU-India Action Plan Support Facility (APSF) implements an action plan for cooperation inter alia on the environment, as agreed at the EU-India 2005 Summit. The purpose of the APSF Environment Component is:

  • to improve sector policy analysis and knowledge
  • to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation
  • to enhance the regulatory function and institutional capacity of the Indian administration, and
  • to enhance dialogue among civil society organizations

The project is implemented by a consortium led by Euroconsult Mott MacDonald, with DHI, WWF India, the Centre for Environment Education, and Toxics Link as partners.

The project effectively began in February 2008, work planning was completed in August 2008, and the activities have started in December 2008.
